To deny our similarities to animals is to deny and undermine our own power. It is to continue actively struggling to prove to our masters, past or present, that we are similar to those who have abused us, rather than to our fellow victims.

WHO WE ARE

WHO WE ARE

End Animal Cruelty is a 501c(4) non-profit that engages in education and advocacy in support of ballot initiatives and other legislative activities aimed at extending animal cruelty protections to all animals, including farmed animals, wild animals, and those exploited for research and recreation, who are currently exempt from state and federal cruelty laws.

We believe that radical changes require radical initiatives, and that the most effective activism is also the most authentic activism. That is why our focus is on campaigns that advocate for the abolition of, rather than the regulation of, violence against animals.

We're fighting for the world we want, not just the world others think is possible. A world where animals are legally protected from violence. In the words of Angela Davis, "you have to act as if it were possible to radically transform the world. And you have to do it all the time."
